this is a blog about sleeping.

okay, not really.

BUT.

I finally got some good sleep last night, except it kicked me in the ass.

I cheated a bit and I took benadryl last night to help me.  I still didn’t sleep until 11, but I had a plan of going to work out before work….

WELL.

That didn’t work.

I managed to sleep in until 9 a.m. instead of 7 a.m. (which meant ten hours of sleep – YAY!), except I’m supposed to be at work at 9, so that was the kick in the booty.

So instead of sleepy, I’m still tired and out of it and not healthy because I haven’t worked out since last Thursday!

Horrible!

Tsk tsk.

Can I go back to bed now?

I finally fell asleep at around 2 a.m. last night.  I wasn’t too stressed.  After I made the decision to not go to the gym, I felt less stress and allowed myself to sleep in until 8 a.m.  Good for sleep – bad for gym.

I haven’t helped myself today but eating pancakes with syrup and a chicken enchilada (small lunch special size?).  Oh well.  I was sleepy and so I ate (makes sense in my head???).

Sigh.  No more late night card games.  :-p

Or non-decaf drinks (I hate you Peet’s Coffee, you non-decaf meanies!).

Cannot sleep.

I’m miserable. No early sleep means no gym. No gym means fat.
Sucks.

I’m lazy sometimes.

No blogging in the last week because I went to the library and borrowed four books.  I have to finish them all in two weeks or else I have to pay a late fee or extend the rental.  For some reason, I don’t like extending because, well, I can finish a book a day, maybe even in four hours.  If I only didn’t work!

I’m trying to get back into the gym again, but I found out that I have a strained rib (not fractured, thank goodness!). However, it still hurts.  Not horrible and I can still do my cardio, but there’s just a mild pain almost all the time on my left side.

I’m trying Joe’s Goals again.  Kind of hard because I’m trying to think of what to put on it.  Sleep early, get to work on time, etc. What else to add?  I should probably ddrink more water because I always forget to do that.

I’m also planning on a few vacations.  Maybe across the country or to a different country.  Anything would be good.  This could be my last year of freedom and I should do something about it.  I believe that you don’t regret what you do so much as you do regret the things you don’t do. (Although, I do not regret not going to the math camp in fifth grade.)

So there’s an update.
